Video: GZA Teaches Science At NYC High School

Continuing to prove why he is worthy of the moniker ‘The Genius,’ and that “Wu-Tang is for the children,” GZA is taking part in a pilot program at New York’s Park East High School, in which children are learning science by writing rhymes. The program was started by Dr. Chris Emdin of Columbia University’s Teachers College, who formed a partnership with GZA, whose passion for science has earned him prestigious speaking engagements at universities across the world including Harvard and Oxford University.

GZA told CBS News, “The goal is just to awaken the children, make them more aware and embrace science and everything connected to it.”

GZA is currently working on his forthcoming album, Dark Matter, which will be released via Babygrande Records.
